The Sense Of Joy
Partway through Prince’s epic solo (4m45s), he allows himself to fall backwards over the edge of the stage. A security guy supports him and then helps Prince back to his feet. Moments after, the camera captures one of the most genuine smiles in rock and roll history as he looks back towards his fellow musicians. The sense of joy throughout the entire performance is written all over Prince’s face.
